ABOUT ME&YOU

A wedding stationery studio based in Somerset

Me&You is a wedding stationery design and print studio based in Somerset. We specialise in hot foiled wedding invitations but also love producing business and greeting cards. Everything is hand crafted in-house by Me&You’s founder and owner, Danielle Whitelock.

The name Me&You reflects the relationship two people have. The relationship between the people who fell in love and are getting married, along with the relationship between client and stationery designer.

The hands-on nature of our job means that every single detail of each project has been carefully considered. We work closely with each client to bring their vision to life and we enjoy experimenting with typography and bold colour pairings. Offering a variety of semi-custom designs, alongside a fully bespoke service - there is something for everyone.

Foil printing is a labour of love, with each wedding invite being hand pressed using an ancient piece of machinery - the hot foil press. A metal plate of the design is created and foil is physically imprinted into the paper, one hand pull at a time.

Classic semi-custom wedding invitation

Me&You was launched by Danielle Whitelock, a graphic designer from Chester, who now resides in Somerset. Her passion for designing wedding stationery began after she created her own invites for her June wedding. However, her love for design and creation started young - when drawing and colouring at her Nan & Grandad's house, kept her entertained for hours.

Danielle dabbled in a number of different career options before finding her feet in the stationery design world. From architecture to media, journalism and film - Danielle explored them all. Eventually, she found Shillington College and it was there that she discovered her true passion in graphic design.

With a keen interest in editorial design, Danielle started her graphic design career producing design layouts for esteemed publications. She art directed editorial photoshoots and learned the best way to balance text and imagery on a page. It always delighted Danielle to see her designs physically printed in a magazine and her understanding of print production developed.

Since then, she has worked in several different design agencies across London and Kent - always learning and developing something new. Her love for bold colour pairings and typography slowly grew and this is reflected in her designs. After taking part in a screen printing workshop with Anthony Burrill, Danielle became intrigued by the art of printing using traditional methods - this then led to the purchase of her hot foil press, aka Daisy.
