The luxury of creating bespoke invitations is that you can explore a variety of options. Me&You specialises in hot foil printing which adds a beautiful shimmer to your invitations but there is also digital printing or letterpress, it entirely depends on the look and feel you want to achieve. You can choose to incorporate ribbon or wax seals, hand drawn maps or custom illustrations - all of which are sourced or created by Danielle in the studio

DESIGN TOGETHER

You have lots of options when you choose bespoke

Me&You aims to produce elegant wedding stationery that you’ll want to keep forever. That tells your love story in a thoughtful and personal way. The invitation is, after all, the first glimpse into your wedding day that your guests get to see and it needs to set the tone.

I take on a maximum of 2 bespoke wedding clients a month, who share my love for stationery, design, colour and typography. The bespoke process usually takes between 6-8 weeks and this includes a consultation, concept development, design, production and delivery.

THE PROCESS

How bespoke stationery works

We'll begin with a phone call, email, pinterest board, or, if you’re located in Kent/London, an in-person meeting over a cuppa. We will discuss your story and begin to understand your vision.

I’ll ask questions about how you met and what you both do for a living, to really gain a better understanding of who you both are and what you are about. Inspiration comes from many places and these discussions are a great way to tease out the unique and personal traits that may help form your invitation designs.

After I have a firm grasp on what you're looking for, the creative process will begin. I will present some initial concepts to you, usually within 2 to 4 weeks. There is often a bit of back and forth at this stage, discussing the finer details and clarifying certain elements - this is all part of the fun when choosing to create bespoke stationery.

Once your concepts are finalised, your final invitation designs will be worked and you’ll be sent a digital proof to approve, before we launch into the print production phase.

With a signed approval form all filled in, printing will begin and it is nearly time for you to see the finished result. Before then, once everything is printed, I will check each piece and package it all up ready to be sent to you. I offer an assembly and postage service which involves envelope addressing and packing so that your invites can be popped straight in the post.

I know from personal experience that budgeting for a wedding can be quite stressful and perplexing. There are so many elements that need to be considered when planning such an event and you quite rightly want to know how much each aspect is going to cost. Unfortunately, when pricing bespoke work, it is very hard to give a definitive answer because it is all dependent on the choices you make. With each piece being bespoke and personal to you, as are the quotes that are produced. With that said, you will receive a tailored quote after the initial consultation but as a rough guide, most of my couples spend around £1500-£3000 on their bespoke stationery.
